GALLERY ONE - Latest Work - 2007-Present

Throughout many years of painting, my subjects have changed, but my approach hasn't. It relies on being inspired -- by ideas, by beauty, by striking visions -- as life continually opens itself.

I enjoy the combination of realism and pattern. Realism has a grandeur about its immediacy; patterns have a rhythm that beats compellingly in the background. Combining them offers a subtly surrealistic bent that has developed into my newest style.

I hope you enjoy these oil-on-canvas paintings, and will stop by often as I complete more and more of them. (See the bottom row for the very latest.)
